Our client, a Fortune 20 organization, has a high-profile need within the bleeding edge of Mobile Applications. The Mobility division has partnered with jobTopia to locate a Mobility Lead (Director) who has knowledge and experience in Global, Strategic Mobile initiatives. This position will report to a Senior VP. You and your team will spearhead a radical change within this world-wide organization; one that will allow them to be mobile device independent. This is a growing division and will allow you to have direct in-put in the over-all global strategy and road-map of an internationally renowned organization.
General Scope:
- Validate business plans against strategic imperatives in order to ensure alignment.
- Review detailed research materials, vendor product plans and industry trends for new/emerging technologies in order to identify the impact on current Company technology strategies and business plans.
Required Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the key directional trends and emerging technologies in the IT industry
- Knowledge of IT research methods and procedures.
- Ability to translate technical information for a business audience and business information for a technical audience.
- Understanding of Application Development Life Cycle and methodologies
- Program Management expertise
